Cloncurry Show

Weekend was ok, different from my other same thing weekend, almost 1000 ppl came from I dont know where flooding curry town, feel like in brisbane for once, hehe..Cloncurry show is kind a like EKKA Show, except there wasnt any pig around. show took place about 3 soccer field, not bad..so here are some of the actions (*click the image for bigger view):

Assisting Main Roads booth.
- Promoting Main Roads.
- Assisting regarding maps and directions.
- Hand out showbags and balloons with helium..and cylinder supplied by BOC!! teringat zaman keje ngan BOC dan rakan² riang ye ansar..maybe dat cylinder was made by us last time..
- Layan kanak- kanak colouring.


Camel Riding

- 7 bux per round, aku tak naik aaa...cam tourist aa plak..hehe . but quite popular..byk je satu famili tunggang tiga² ekor unta tu terus..nice..




Whipping Game
- not sure how the game works..but they just wack and wack until one of them kalah...they have to wear this dress sbb apparently derang libas badan dan kepala...kuat gak bunyi mende tu...camni bunyinye-->'kuuuwiiishhh!' kuat kan?




Showjumping Equestrian
- cool! first time tgk live..power gak sbb equestrian tu kene agak timing untuk kude tu lompat...aku tunggu je kude tu sangkut nak tgk camner kude tergolek but unfortunately sume lepas..ceit..





Fashion Show
- a bit different, 2 categories:

1. Kids = they go around the showground..pusing² with dressup yg comel comel and unique..some of them ride pony...tak sempat nak usha sbb aku kene jage booth dat time..



2. Adults = fashion show cam biasek...model² tak brape cun..each district sent their model/ representative...tak pasti district mane menang, yg pasti wakil Cloncurry gemuk...yang lawa² sume malu nak participate, maklum la gadis kampung...hehehe..





Camel Racing
Haha yang ni mmg kelakar..camel ni lari kaki huyung hayang cam nak tergolek...but laju gak aaa...jockey siap dress up hensem² cam horse racing je..very entertained..





Dave Russell Stunt
Action with the motocross bike..one of the actions as in the pic was jumping across the fake chopper with spinning blade, pastu kuar aa api² firework kecik nak kasik gempak..spectator kagum sambil bunyi 'woooooooooow!'...ok je aa takde aa gempak sgt, commentator berapi² cakap...but tak tengok mat rempit lagi, takble cari makan aaa kamu Dave..eheh..


Demolition Derby
Most awaited show..seven old cars smashed each others until they buggered and the remaining one declared the champ..one of them was police car with siren! hahah guess wut, they are the earliest one who got busted! bile lagi kan nak hentam kete polis...hehe




Firework!!
Kebom! Pam! Pam! Pam! Kediisshhh...10 minutes fireworks end up the Cloncurry Show 2008...teringat RiverFestival firework...very romantic...









Games and rides lebey kurang cam EKKA...aku tak main ape² dan tak naik ape², tak thrill pon (seram padahal)..I bought gula kapas satu bucket besar! mmg puas hati...hehee..teringat time EKKA dulu² I won a big dice bantal and a few teddies, bawak balik naik scooter!!kelakar jee nampak, struggle je matairku pegang mendalah tu..kenangan kisah silam..hehe.

Abis jeee weekend, Monday plak...adeeeih was busy busy busy...barely check my email, mostly on phone or other ppl desk, also the other site alarm system just died....nasib baik the end of yesterday got called by Dept of Health WA, selected for the interview for IT position tomorrow...the salary offer was greater than here...senyum aku kejap...hopefully ade mase nak prepare aaa as Pete will fly out today to Cairns for meeting for the rest of the week..Perth ooohh Perth...cam dah malas plak nak pindah² ni..Cloncurry is not dat bad except summer dia panasss azzaabbbbb....tgk aa camne...oraity, get back to work! ;0
